It plays with a big, edgy sound that just takes your air the second blow into the horn. It’s a serious player and does show some signs of use in the past but these are purely small cosmetic and are mainly scratches to the finish.
I actually prefer no rolled tone holes model due to the fact that pads seem to stick less. This is an earlier model with a serial number of 110,xxx and was manufactured somewhere around 1997.-98 This is keikwerths top of the line pro horn and the only difference between this stand the “r” model is the rolled tone homes.
